How to create a campaign

Welcome to the Chappyz Campaign Creation Guide! This document will walk you through the essential steps to create and manage your campaigns effectively using the Chappyz platform.

1. Campaign Information

When you start creating a campaign, the first step is to fill in the basic information and upload a cover image.

Cover image requirements:

Size: 1500×500 px (3:1 aspect ratio);

Supported file types: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP;

Maximum file size: 10MB.

Key details:

  • Start Date: Date for when you want the campaign to go live. Setting a future start date makes the campaign visible in the “Upcoming” section of the Chappyz dAPP after publishing, until the start date is reached.

  • End Date: Optional, but campaigns without an end date will continue to accumulate rewards even after the reward pool is empty. Note that Chappyz may disable inactive campaigns that haven’t had claims for a long time.

  • Expired Campaigns: Once a campaign reaches its end date, it will move to the “Expired” section in the dApp, but users can still claim their unclaimed rewards.

2. Rewards Page & Campaign Reward Pool

In this section, you define the total amount of tokens allocated for campaign rewards. This reward pool is shared among all completed tasks, with users claiming their rewards on a basis until the pool is depleted.

Campaign Eligibility Requirements

Here, you set the requirements that community members need to meet to earn rewards from the campaign. Eligibility criteria can include holding specific tokens or NFTs in their connected wallet, or being a member of a designated Telegram or Discord server.

Key Points:

  • Cross-Chain Flexibility: The eligibility tokens or NFTs do not need to be on the same blockchain as the rewards.

  • Multiple Criteria: You can select multiple eligibility criteria, and passing any one of them will grant users access to the campaign.

Adding Bots:

  • Telegram: The bot should have admin rights to view all messages and interactions.

  • Discord: The bot must be given the same permissions as verified users to access relevant channels. This can be managed in your server settings.

Tasks and Task Rewards

The Chappyz platform allows you to reward users for joining community groups and engaging on Telegram or Discord.

Task Types:

  • One-Off Tasks: These are rewarded once per user for actions like joining a Discord or Telegram server.

  • Chat & Earn Tasks: These are rewarded for each message sent in linked channels, with AI analysis determining the relevance and quality of the message.

AI Analysis:

  • Sentiment Analysis: Determines if a message is positive or constructive.

  • Content Analysis: Detects the relevancy of messages to selected topics.

Spam and Plagiarism Detection:

  • Penalties: Set penalties for detected spam or plagiarism to ensure fair rewards distribution.

Example:

  • Chat & Earn Reward: 0.00015 BNB per message (~$0.05)

  • AI Weights: Adjust the importance of sentiment vs. content in determining rewards.

Editing Campaigns

Once a campaign is published, you can still edit certain settings, except for the rewards. If you need to adjust the reward pool, you can do so through the creator's portal.
